Chinese artist Yang Fudong takes charge of PRADA Spring Summer 2010 campaign and short movie which he has directed as part of the promo. Idea for the video comes from the season itself, with Spring being a promising time of year, when things are growing and taking a new form, reflected in Chinese saying “The whole year’s work depends on a good start in spring.”

i dont know how i really feel about this. I think its a crazy way to campaign a new line, big ups to Prada for taking a giant leap in the chance department. The images are beyond dope, i love the play on the vintage chinese culture mixed with the modern edge of Prada. Very beautiful imagery for that, now the film…. that im a lil lost on. I couldnt quite follow what was going on… maybe the viewers not intended to?? Let me know your thoughts. ENJOY
