iLLA
Next generation emcee, musician, producer and tireless self-made businessman iLLA started his music career in 1999, at the age of 14. In August 2007 iLLA was awarded The Source magazines Unsigned Hype. A few months later his album Fli Rock received a great review in The Source magazine. Illaj has been featured on hundreds of mixtapes worldwide and dropped his own mixtape in the summer of 2009 called “What Would Picasso Do,” which was downloaded nearly two million times. Illa’s singles have received spins across the nation on internet radio, clear channel stations, and Sirius/xm satellite radio. He has since released several other solo mixtapes and ep’s that have received major acclaim. From djbooth.net to hiphopdx.com iLLA has hit the the blogs and online sites with his style of music, venturing in not only hiphop, but pop, electro, and rock sounds as well. The release of Moxie Black in summer 2010 was a monumental statement to iLLA’s diversity in music and style. His latest endeavor has been more hiphop based with the hit single “Cranberry Vodka.” iLLA has been working this song since early 2011 when it was released on the “VAN GOGH” mixtape. The video caught fire and the dj’s ate the song up for club plays. With small projects being released since “CRANBERRY VODKA’s” debut this single and reigned supreme and he is hoping for some breakout success with future business deals surrounding this single.
