Big Pun is the greatest rapper of all time. By far. Im not rican. Big L aint that good. Hes just overrated cuz of his death. Ive never been much into Big L anyway, his voice and overall music aint that nice. His voice is kinda annyoing and nothing special, his beats and overall music aint nothing special either he just had good lyrics and his freestyles are great, he wasnt much versatile either and ive listened to all his shit 100x and still cant get into him so much. Big Pun on the other hand, hooked me on hard after i heard Capital Punishment album just when i heard Beware that was enough and i was like OMG DAMN!!! This nigga is the illest ever. I still listen to Pun and think its timeless i repeat all his shit non-stop, Hes the only artist i bump. Capital Punishment is by far the best album of all time. Endangered Species is classic too and Yeah Baby is great especially tracks like Leatherface. Matter fact tracks like Fast money, Beware, Leatherface, Dream Shatterer, Boomerang etc >>> All L tracks by far. Put it on and Ebonics are good but the rest….nah fuck off with all that L shit Big Pun is the best just listen to his flow and the shit he spits its just so deep and real and just unbelievable. His versatity and realness was unbelievable too. He could do any kinda songs and he could switched up his flow and he mastered his flow to the fullest like nobody else and made u hear every word he spit “Fast Money” for an example. His lyrics were so real, funny, clever and just genius overall. His wordplay is untouchable. I even think that some of his punchlines is harder than Big L, cuz sure Big L had funny hard punchlines and hes arguably the best punchline rapper cuz thats what he was all about but Pun has harder punchlines imo. A lot of ppl dont really recognie and really sit down and listen to all of Puns shit and his lyrics/flow or whatever. They just hear a few tracks quickly and then judge. Thats not fair, at least i dont judge L after 2 songs ive listened to all L albums and freestyles and everything so much and still cant see why ppl call him the best. If u say Big L or Pac or Big or Nas or anyone else is better than Pun then u havent clearly listened enough to Pun. Anyone that does that knows that Puns the best. So many ppl say Puns the best and thats true cuz they know real hiphop and they have taken the time to listen enough to call him the goat.
Big Pun is the best rapper of all time and thats not opinion. Thats fact. That fact would be proven to all people if he was alive cuz he would be so famous and so much better if he was alive with more classic albums. But Capital Punishment is the proof cuz its the best album ever made. He became my favorite after i heard that shit. It was so dope even doper than BIG. Big Pun forever!!!

How can you dismiss L as shit and no flow? his lyrics are one of the dopest we have ever seen and he is so damn versatile with his flow. I know pun was better in capital punishment, but for his second album he was so obese he couldnt flow at all- they had to stop every four bars and let him breathe. But in the prime of both of their short careers- pun is an overall better mc. BUT ITF FUCKING CLOSE DICKHEADS!
